How you get your licence
The steps from registration to your licence, and what each theory track covers.
Step 1
Register
Submit the required documents at our office.
Step 2
Lessons and practice
We teach you how to drive and take you through practice theory and driving tests.
Step 3
Theory exam
30 questions on a computer, including road signs. You pass with 24 out of 30 or more.
Step 4
Practical exam
Choose a manual or an automatic car, then complete the required steps.
Step 5
Licence issued
If you pass every stage, your licence is issued the same day.

Frequently asked questions
How does the practice exam work?
Choose a track, then start the exam. Questions are drawn at random from the question bank and the timer starts when you press “Start the exam”. At the end you see your score and can review your mistakes.
Which track should I choose?
Pick the track that matches your licence code: Standard (BC / G) for a private car, Commercial (B), Motorbikes (A) or Heavy commercial / truck (C). The Road signs track is useful for everyone.
Do I need an account?
No. Practice needs no sign-up or account; it works directly in your browser.
Can I pause the timer?
No, just like the real exam. When time runs out your answers are submitted automatically, and unanswered questions count as wrong.
What happens if I refresh the page?
Your exam is saved in the browser, so you can resume where you left off with the same time remaining.
Can I review my mistakes?
Yes. After submitting you can review the wrong questions, all questions or the ones you flagged, with the correct answer for each.
Can I save my attempt as a PDF?
Yes. Press “Download PDF” on the result screen, then choose “Save as PDF” in the print window.
Which languages are the questions in?
Arabic, English and French. You can switch language at any time, even during an exam, without losing your answers.
